Mercedes c204 help with gear box after renew 7g 2012
hi guys just did my first gearbox virgin with CGDI all went well and programmed in till the end bit where you teach in gear selection range keeps failing at this part , i have removed the gearbox sump and the plastic bit is inside the nut , so am little confused as what is wrong ?
fault code is. The error message reads , the prerequisites are not fulfilled or peripherals are not operational. any help would be great thanks |

Gb temp not reached? Ive only ever done this procedure with xentry. Not sure what cgdi is.

hi but the car won't start , so i don't think that's the issue , am using xentry as well cgdi was just to renew gearbox

There is something wrong with you transmission range sensor. Inspect installation. If installation is good then look at values. If values do not change, then the range sensor is bad. Replace the conductor plate.

You did not say car wont start. I agree with mbenztech. Look at live data.
