SDconnect C4 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from Wi-Fi randomly
I have this problem with 2 SDconnect C4 muxes acting the same. When connected to Windows, wifi Road24h keeps disconnecting and reconnecting randomly. Wi-Fi symbol on the mux LCD stays and remains unchanged during the problem.
I use Lenovo T420 laptop with Intel 6205 wifi card. System is 03.2019 on Windows 7 x86. Both muxes have a Fujitsu wifi cards installed. I tried the following with no success. Problem still remains: - Restored factory settings on both muxes - Inserted rechargeable batteries and updated firmware to 2011 and to the latest. - updated laptop wifi driver with the latest from the Intel website - updated laptop wifi driver with the latest from the Lenovo website - Tried on a different laptop See the attached video for a reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVFhzXJd...lraIt_zWaE I appreciate any help. |

RE: SDconnect C4 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from Wi-Fi randomly
I don't remember any Fujitsu card that was compatible with the C4. I indicate some that are proven to work well, all based on Atheros chipset:
- Cisco Aironet CB21G - D-Link DWL-G650 (firmware B 2.23 or up) - D-Link DWA-645 - NEC Aterm WL54ag - Netgear WPN511 - Netgear WG511T - TP-Link TL-WN610G I take it for granted that the netmask has it configured manually and you don't have other networks within reach configured with automatic connection ... |

RE: SDconnect C4 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from Wi-Fi randomly
Looks to me like a HW setup/config problem. Meaning that the SW expects a certain speed and quality of data transfer and your HW is not set up to supply that demand. Try finding some information about what kind of connetivity you need (WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax). You may be using a too modern standard for the SW which it is not made for. If you are using cable then you have to set transfer speeds quite low for it to work which is kinda sad as the full COM speed would be ultra fast if it would be able to utilize. Try from the oldest communication standards and see how it works.
Not sure if this helps but that was my 1st thought on that matter. GL. |

RE: SDconnect C4 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting from Wi-Fi randomly
Have you tried wifi card setting, removing the sleep function in the wifi card settings (of the laptop).
