Hello, I bought a BMW X3 G01 LCI from the US, but I am located in Bulgaria and my Connected Drive isn't working. I want to make it work but if I am right, because of esim in ATM2 it is not possible. My question is if i buy new ATM2 ECE variant from BMW, will it work ? I read that it need s to be coded to my vin and also validated for the car.
Also is it possible that I buy a second hand ATM and can someone validate it for my car ? I know roaming coding is an opiton, but Bulgaria is not a roaming country. Has anyone made connected drive and connected service work in a non roaming country ?

Are you SURE??? IMHO does NOT roam in east europe.

Then go more east, like Finland, Baltic states, Romania, etc. And it will NOT work there!!!

CD should work in Romania. In my opinion the reason is wrong coding
