Installation of KAI Decentral not working
Hi, does anybody have a clue why I get the error " Please check the administration of your KAI URL" when trying to install the KAI 3.0.2.16 package from AOS?
I tried it on three PCs. 2 of them show the same error and one worked. But the one which worked was a brand new installation. The other two have ISTA and all that installed but also with all new windows updates. ISTA 4.46.14, ISTA 4.46.11 SDP, ISTA-P 72.0, ISTA Launcher 1.46

I think your issue is registration via ISPI Admin Client.
You also need admin rights for the device, .net 4.7 If you get it working please share your solution. MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

The KAI is working on a laptop without admin client. On the PC with the admin client it‘s not installing.
I have admin rights on all pc. .net 4.8 is installed. I made a second fresh install on the laptop and there it installs. Does it need to be licensed in the admin client? ISTA 4.46.14, ISTA 4.46.11 SDP, ISTA-P 72.0, ISTA Launcher 1.46

But you would have to rename the admin client config folder (license location) and restart the KAI service each time, even if you do that to get KAI to install in lite mode instead of full mode, it will then refuse to run later if it detects the admin client license and if you install in full mode it will not use your AOS credentials ... |

So a second install for the key reader would be the best solution.
