What need to change or only coding?

If your car has 249 + LIM button on steering wheel, its a matter of replacing buttons, adding SA554 to FA and coding FEM/KOMBI/ICM

If your car has no LIM-button on steering wheel, you also need to change KOMBI

Maybe typo from @sqorpius , it should be 544

If car has no LIM button, how could be price overall to add cruise control?
What type of Kombi need to change for?

Yep, typo. Sorry! 544 Cruise control w. braking function 

You need a bkombi with green LED in cluster, or just a 6WA KOMBI if you are retrofitting already.

According to OP’s VIN, the car come with very basic options, and even no iDrive system on it.
So I think 6WA will be too costly (need to retrofit MOST headunit / screen as well).

Steering wheel multifuction switch (61319261859) and bkombi (62108794205) for OP’s cruise control.

Every cluster has the green dot. Never met any problems. Steering wheel buttons with cc and add 544 and code. Thats all

You didnt get this case thats it   Trust me cars without lim function must change kombi to get 544 working
