Hoping you guys could help me, I wanna replace my TCU with Combox, does anybody know what wires I have to repin?

I just been reading up a few posts about Combox retrofits and noticed I only need to repin if my car comes with TCU & MULF2 but I'm pretty sure I only have TCU and no MULF2, Can I just replace the TCU with a direct swap from TCU to Combox and then do all the coding? Many thanks again

Best way forward is compare the connector and plug you have with the SSP and make a not of what is wired where and confirm the pins. Then compare that with the pinout for what you are retofitting and go from there. I did something similar for my PDC and also TCB-ATM retrofit. Quite simple once you check the wires against the SSP.

but I have 1 small problem, I don't know if my car has TCU & MULF or just TCU, I looked up the options and the only option my car has is $644 but both options in the DIY have $644??? I'm a bit confused

That’s why I said look at your connectors/plug and the ECU to determine what you have installed. The wiring will correspond to the SSP.

I've located the TCU but I can only see 1 module, I've heard the MULF can be in a different place like the rear seats etc

I'm not very good with wiring so I'm ordering adapter from Kufatec but it asks me if it's TCU+MULF or just TCU

Connect to car with ISTA or E-SYS  and see what you have.
