F30 coding problems
Hey guys,
As a last resort, I thought that maybe you might have some insights on why I can't code my 12/2016 F30. What I tried: - windows on bootcamp and vmware, tried with both - esys 3.27.1 + launcher premium 2.5.3 + psdz 63.3 = "couldn't find CAFd_00000794-018_070_003" - esys 3.27.1 + launcher premium 2.5.3 + psdz 4.19.21 = working but I get the dreaded dots instead of names, when editing - esys 3.27.1 + launcher PRO 2.8.2 + psdz 4.19.21 = same dots I've donated to tokenmaster today, but seeing on forums that his MIA I have little hope that I'll get the latest launcher in the near future. And I'm not 100% sure that will resolve my "dots" issue. Everywhere I looked regarding the dots it's because they didn't select the correct chassis (F030) in my case, from the Launcher. I made sure that's not the case, double checked and triple checked every time with launcher Premium. PRO 2.8.2 doesn't seem to ask me that anymore. Do you guys have any ideas on what to do? I don't want downgrade any ECU just to be able to code it. Thank you |

You have a very new car, and very old launcher. Your version of launcher likely does not have mapping for the new CAFDs on your car.
I have both Launcher Pro and EsysX, both are great. Tokenmaster is a busy man, but he will eventually respond when he has time. Can you post up a CAFD or 2 that is giving you problems. I can make sure it is mapped in my launchers. Also, what is your current i-step? |

Esys 3.27.1 with highest psdzdata 4.18.xx ..
Everything about Esys no longer 3.27.1 .. Newer psdzdata require a newer Esys such as 3.31.0 or later. Kombiinstrumente nullen, G-Key für F-Modelle, FRM3 Reparatur, EGS 8HP ISN löschen, Benutzter Schlüssel löschen, Schlüssel für EWS / CAS / FEM / BDC, Klonen EWS / CAS / FEM / BDC, Tempolimit Info, GTS Software für M2 / 3/4, Fxx Gxx Alpina Getriebesoftware, uvm ..

I ended up using esys 3.28.1 in the end. Worked with my launcher but I was still getting the dots. However, I stumbled upon another thread (https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.p...#pid483638) where someone said that I need to rename the file KIS..properties. That fixed my issue with the dots and I was able to code everything with esys 3.28.1 + launcher PRO 2.8.2 + psdz 4.19.21.
