Hardware Capable of Unlocking SIMOS 8.31 VAG ECU??
Hi guys
I've been researching this for a few days and am still drawing a blank... I think that maybe a k-tag will do it but if anyone here has unlocked an Audi A6 (C6 facelift) 3.0T ecu what did you use? Continental SIMOS 8.31 CAJA code Thanks!

From my research it seems that this ecu will need to be unlocked on the bench with MMCflash, PCM flash or kess/k-tag. Still deciding what to buy to do it. Not sure if a clone kess or k-tag is worth the risk? |
