BMW ista help please g30 5 series
hi all,
i have a 2019 bmw g30 5 series here, when i plug ista into the car it gives me this error message: the vehicle identification number (VIN) entered is not valid and/ or not assigned. my ista d is version 4.10.20 and ista p is 3.64.0.600, i have just updated my psdzdata to 4.19.30 but ista still does not know the vin. can anyone advise what i can do for g series vehicles. thanks in advance If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep

PSDZDATA has nothing to do with VIN identification. You need new diag db, and for that you need new ISTA. Your's is wayyyyyyy too old for 2019 car.

i was thinking that, so newer ista is the only way forward.
i hoped that there was a quicker solution. what is the latest ista versions, this is an aug 2019 car If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep
