Start F10 after crash
Hi.
i had a little accident wirh my F10. No Airbags were deploeyed. Just front bumper, cooler and one headlight. But now the car does not start. Does anybody know why the car does not start. THANKS for your help. |

Check the security Battery Clamp in the Thrunk near the battery. It disconnects the powerline in case of an accident.

Or it may be a blown fuse if something got shorted. Why don't you do a diagnosis on the car instead of asking us to guess?

I have connected a second car to the BMW to try to start it. But i cannot make ignition on. No electricity. Can i do OBD Diagnostik when i do not have electricity ?

Well, don't you think you could have told that in the first post? And you really need to learn to describe the problem. To be clear nowhere I said anything about OBD diagnosis.
Now first thing first. Did you connect that second car directly to the battery or to the terminals under the bonnet? What do you mean by "no electricity"? No ignition, no lights in the car? |

I am sorry for that. You are right i could explain the problem detailed in the first post. Thank you for explaining that to me. From now on i will pay attention to that.
I connected the second car to the terminals und the bonnet. And yes not lights nothing is working. |

Then Munich Simon is probably right. Replace Safety Battery Terminal.
