Good morning fellows, 

I recently retrofitted the virtual cockpit and the mib2 mmi into my pre-facelift A3 8V. I flashed the camera to 5Q0 980 653 G and the gateway to 5Q0 907 530 AJ.

After doing all the tsr coding in 17, 5F and A5 I am left with this error message in the virtual cockpit:

16777013 - Steuergerät 
          B2001 00 [009] - falsche Softwareversion
          [Neue Funktion! Erweiterte UDS Fehlercode Informationen werden nur von der aktuellen Hardware-Generationen unterstützt.]
          bestätigt - geprüft seit letzter Löschung

The vc itself only shows that no traffic sign was found, but without any error messages. 

If anyone knows what this means, please help me! 

And i got a second small problem: next week i will retrofit the bang & olufsen soundsystem into my car with the pre-facelift amplifier. Someone told me, that it is not fully compatible with the mib2 mmi and that i cannot change the sound settings with the pre-facelift amp installed. Is this true and is there a workaround for this or do i really need to buy the expensive 81A 035 466 amplifier?

The error it's problem with software

Yeah... this is what it shows...

But is it simply because the VC is not compatible with the 5Q0 camera? Or is there a software update for the VC/camera to get it working again? Is there anything i can do except changing the camera?

regarding the sound, yes you need amplifier facelift with MIB 2
