RE: BMW BDC Bench Flashing
Hi,
does anybody know what happens when I erase (write 0x00 or 0xFF) to both M95256 of an BDC? I ask because I have a used BDC for bench setup but have no matching keys. I can set KL15 on via Tool32 which results in startup of my connected cluster, but it looks like I can't change coding. Would it be possible to learn a "virgin" key to it? Or will I brick it if the EEPROMS had been cleared once. Or can I write back a backup an get back the actual state? Sorry for may asking stupid questions. Best regards |

RE: BMW BDC Bench Flashing
You can use INPA to turn on "assembly mode" (STATUS / KLEMEN and last mode). Then you will be able to turn on the ignition (KL15). Of course you must have a key, start / stop button - or FEM platform. I do this way and I can flash and code in Esys. Personally, I use the FEM module and clocks on the bench with the platform
