Is KESS 5.028 available?
Hello,
Please forgive my ignorance here. I have a red PCB (EU clone, I think) with KESS v2 5.017. I'm trying to work on a Chevy Tahoe which uses Prt 584 | GM / Opel / Chevrolet Delco E38. I've read support for this is in KESS v2 5.028 FW. So I think I need that, first of all. I've read articles over a year old now about 5.028 "coming soon", but still, no one seems to sell a clone of it yet? Is it still not released? Anyone know the status of it? Is there any upgrade procedure to newer firmware by changing the SD card? If it's not widely available, what are my options? Buy a genuine version, or send my unit out for an upgrade? Thank you for your help! |

Honest look in sales section bcz it's there for a long time that old junk. These clones kess and ktag are dead tools. My advice think at originals anything other is not worth it.

Clones are fine for working on you own / friends cars, I would not risk commercially.

Thanks. Understood. I'm just trying to figure out what are my options besides buying one from the sales area or 16pin.ru. There doesn't seem to be anyone else with this FW available.

don't bother do rework it is bulshit they work the same way. all clones are the same it is marketing trick for red purple pcb i get the cheapest clones from ali just for testing and they work.

Wow you made me suprised now about rework.
What ksuite do you use? What about car coverage with this clones? Would you recommend to buy this days kess and ktag or something else? |

Could you mention few examples of exotic ecus it cannot do?
I will use it on few cars around 2008. Do you think edc17cp45 would work on ktag clone? That ecu would like to do once get more experience |

with 2008 cars will have no problems
edc17cp45 will work simos18.1 don't fiat 9df don't dcm3.7 don't ...... virtual file are supported here
