RE: retrofit a trailer hitch to my 2014 F11
I’m about to retrofit this to my F10 LCI. The pre LCI uses two modules whilst the LCI uses a single module. I am using a pre LCI wiring loom and fitting the pre LCI loom as I found it brand new on eBay for £70. Whichever you decide it will work. The towbar itself is standard across the LCI/Pre LCI, it’s just the vehicle side loom that differs, either one module (LCI) or two modules (pre LCI)
I don't know much, but if I've helped you're welcome.

They do indeed use different kcan, but the LCI still has KCAN1 so it will connect quite happily to this canbus. What loom and modules would you like the PN for? Pre LCI or LCI?

RE: retrofit a trailer hitch to my 2014 F11
They both connect to ZGW and FRM. I have the BMW EBA and the only difference between the 2 connections is the LCI connects to KCAN2. They both connect to pins 12 and 40 on the FRM. This is the secondary high brake light and and the outer right tail light. Same across both versions.
