F34 2014/07 RDC RDCi TPMS new sensors and wheels
I have bought on eBay 4 new, and supposed OEM, RDC sensors for new wheels in a F34 2014/07 model with part number 6881890
I think the car read the sensors because I see the ident in ISTA of the 4 but the initialization stops at 49% Any idea in how to make them work? Regards. |

RE: F34 2014/07 RDC RDCi TPMS new sensors and wheels
The notes talks about signal strength and failures. It says that if the number is more than 3 this indicates a problem in the displayed wheel electronics. You have 13 failures, this would indicate a problem to me. Solve that problem and I would hope you will get them to initialise correctly.
I don't know much, but if I've helped you're welcome.

RE: F34 2014/07 RDC RDCi TPMS new sensors and wheels
The notes say in any of these cases:
1. you have low signal 2. number of failures more than 3 your wheel electronics are bad. So your wheel electronics must be bad. It looks like it just sends all maximum possible values... Because it reports actual tyre pressure 6.3 bar and temperature of 127°C. These look like all 1s in binary code. Maybe you haven't driven the car long enough after changing tires/sensors? It takes a while for car to properly identify wheels and values after change. |

The older sensors in the winter wheels works ok so I think car electronics are ok but maybe the new sensors are not so OEM?

I am currently the owner of F34.
To the f10 tpms and f10 rdc modules. You can use the rdc method. If you'd like to thank me, thank me. |

Will that kind of gear help with activation of rdc?
