Looks a little bit like a VXDIAG VCX SE, that can emulate the ICOM.But I'm not sure since I don't have a VXDIAG. What does the webinterface look like?

Chinese already selling ICOM analogue in ICOM Next case? I'm building same in ELM327 case Small module looks like MT76x8 based and probably running OpenWRT, STM32 is for CAN and K,L-lines on OBD interface. Everything will work, but will they offer firmware update with next bmw update...

I have the genuine a2 as well as genuine next. It looks like you have a few missing components on the board which as you know is normal for Chinese stuff. Have you tried how it works?
I know some clone a2s couldn't see kl15 on newer vehicles with no pin 7 in obd connector.

Not to sure how confident i'd be on programming with it though.

it came in a next case. confirmed now its a vxdiag pcb with bmw license. it poppes up as an icom in bmw vci manager but cant connect due to wrong firmware. wich cant be updated with bmw firmware. have updated to vxdiags latest but still no go. it also poppes up in xentry toolkit so im guessing it will work with odis also etc..
