Carry out boost leak checks and look for cracks in egr cooler and pipe work.

Maybe intake manifold is cracked, or just air mass metter showing wrong parameters and it needs to clean it

Check intake manifold for leaks; seals for intake; egr cooler bypass functioning. If those are all good replace egr cooler. Faulty egr valve itself gives faults for valve position - not just codes for air mass measurement.

In many cases, the intake ports are sooty. Remove the boost pressure sensor and see if it is very heavily sooty. If so, is that the case. The only thing that helps here is cleaning the intake system and the intake ports with the walnut blaster.

Compare the exhaust flow through the exhaust-gas recirculation cooler and the exhaust flow through the exhaust-gas recirculation cooler bypass, each when the exhaust-gas recirculation valve is fully open:
Limit values for the exhaust flow through the exhaust-gas recirculation cooler:
No sooting: over 90 %
Minor sooting: 85 % up to 90 %
Moderate sooting: 80 % up to 85 %
Severe sooting: under 80 %
Actual exhaust flow value through the exhaust-gas recirculation cooler:78.5 %
Determined degree of sooting in the exhaust-gas recirculation coolerevere sooting
Measure:
1. Check the EGR for leaks (corrugated tubing may have cracked), if necessary, seal leaks.
If there are no leaks: Replace EGR cooler.

If you have the opportunity to borrow an endoscope with a 5mm dual camera, you should remove the temperature sensor on the EGR cooler at the connection to the intake system and use the side camera to check the cooler for soot. You could also use the endoscope to check the inlet channels through the hole in the intake manifold pressure sensor. As I already mentioned, sooting is very common in engines with more than 80000 km.

Also check intake manifold, with egr failing these can be melted, it can smell like burned plastic and small holes can be also.
