Can someone walk me through the steps to replace a CIC unit in a 2011 328i e90LCI?
I have already purchased and physically installed the new unit, but by NAV and Siriusxm do not work.  I have a computer with ediabas, ncsexpert,NcsDummy, FSC-Tools, SWID_reader, CIC Mafia, CIC_FSC_Generator, CIC Language Coding Utility.  
I want to know if I can change the vin in the CIC to match the VIN of the chassis, and what software/hardware I require.  When I go to the Nav screen, it gives me an error currently.  When I go to the Siriusxm screen, the serial number is NOT visible.  Please help!

Flash the unit or change with tool32.
Do you got an icom? If yes then I can do it remote for you.

Is an icom required or can I do it with a k-dcan?

but you must have newest software flashed cic with yours car vin, when you must write fsc into cic, and only when you can enjoy navi

Ok, got an icom, verified that it can talk to the car via OBD. I have tool32 installed and just need to know what job to load and run to modify.
