Genuine ICOM Next A not available in BMW
Hi guys, it's 2/3 months that I'm waiting for a GENUINE ICOM NEXT A ordered together with the fiber optic adapter (B): the adapter has arrived after 1 month, but the ICOM seems to be still not available.
Someone know if BMW has replaced ICOM Next A with a newer cable? ICOM P maybe? Thank you very much |

ICOM-P and ICOM-P Next are factory only VCI, these would not replace the ICOM Next for dealerships, and not see any news of ICOM Next being replaced, probably only shortage of supply.

VCI is Vehicle Communication Interface. Price sounds about right, maybe even a bit on a cheap side, but that may depend on the market.

Ok perfect, before summer the price from ETK was 367€ + VAT but when I ordered it the dealership told me that the price had been increased, and now should be 520/525€ including VAT.
So, if I understood right the ICOM P is only used in factory while the ICOM Next A is still the cable used by the dealerships? |

Yes.
ICOM next A is still the current interface. No news on another hardware so far. |
