Technique to desolder eeprom chip with a clear blueish layer of protection
Can somebody tell me the technique to desolder a eeprom chip that’s covered with a layer of clear blueish glue type of dried liquid on it ?

Scrape it off like you did, then scrub with alcohol and a brush.
I use Methyl Hydrate because it is cheaper than IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) but it is toxic where IPA is not. If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!

i use ipa also but clusters solution would prob be awesome,depends whats you have to hand,tooth brush is what i use
just dont use for teeth after! i help who i want! when i want to! otherwise dont ask free stuff
