BMW F20 Power Folding Mirrors Retrofit
Hello everyone,
I wish to do a retrofit to have mirrors folding electrically. I have a BMW F20 ECE (production data 11/2011), I currently have defrost and control of the electrical position but I do not have the option S430. First question, is it possible to do this on my model ? Second question, if so, is it difficult? (for info I already do the retrofit HU_ENTRY -> HU_NBT2, reverse camera and BKOMKI -> KOMBI). I have already started a little searching on the web. I wanted to know if the easiest way is not to simply buy the module with the engine to integrate in the rearview mirror ? Or you have to buy the complete mirror directly (unfortunately expensive) ? The electrical wiring will look like this: I do not know if I need to add cables to the mirror or not. How to know the type of connection without dismounting ? LIN bus or signal lines ? 6 pin mirror = basic, 5 pin mirror = Folding. So I think mine is a Basic mirror ? Thank you in advance for the information. Best regards, Hugo |

RE: BMW F20 Power Folding Mirrors Retrofit
hello in my bmw f31 I made retrofit of folding mirrors. The only thing I did that I saw in another forum was in the driver's window and mirrors module.
Pin 7 with Pin 1 (ground) Pin 8 with Pin 2 (Lin Bus) Pin 9 with Pin 10 (power) |
