00Windows  error installing ODIS, any version
Hello there guys,
I am trying for 3 days to install ODIS, i just want any version to work, i managed to install ETKA ELSAwin AutoData etc but i cannot  manage  to make ODIS work.

Whatever version i try to install it keeps getting error at installing components

You must uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++.

if u read fantomel's instructions then you would have seen that error is in general because of visual c+ kit installed to new and that odis can't put his own.
To be 10000% sure just look at generated install log and there you will see the error.

"1a.if u get an error almost at the end let it finish, 

go and uninstall Visual C++ 2005 that you have in system and run setup again."

On 1 of my laptops unistalling version 2005 didn't solve the problem.

Even after deleting 2005 ,2008 and 2010 this error was still show up.

Finally I unistall all of them and then problem dissapeared.

Formatted windows better for install. But some more reasons sometimes dont allow to install

when you have this message the only you can do is to rstart your pc dont close any window only restart and the program start,sorry for bud english

Run as admin, make sure you defender, antivirus off.. make sure windows is up t date, install again, this will delete all version install, odis S Odis E

ODIS 5.1.3 work on Win 7 x86, you run windows 7 x64, for that version of windos install ODIS 6.2.0.
