Hi this is the 2nd unit i have bought to try to sort this out,
any input is appreciated

 from the original eis i red both muc chips  4j74y mask (r1  and r2) both chips and saved the bin files , ie eeprom and both flash files
 i  still got these bin files just  in case.
with R270+    we then transferred the bin files over to the used unit chips again they were  4j74y chips  (same as original unit,
 all seemed to go well, the car started the original keys worked the car drove ok and locked etc, (but  when we went into the car with mb start and  autologic just to see if there were and issues  because the roof would not work,
 and  we could see there was about 4 - 5 ecus not being seen on the can link, and the  replaced eis was not seen in the unit list,
 so we  have bought another unit,
 the original eis unit part number is   2305452308
the replacement used one i have just bought is 2305450508

so what the best  way to go again, thanks all

no one wants too help,
i thought that was the idea of a common interest forum,
if i new and someone asked i would share as i always have, its strange seems to be people want it one way all the time,
oh well
