Confusing part numbers and parameter file needed for VW Polo 6R
Hi guys,
i have a vw polo 6r with a permantent dtc complaining about some start-stop parametrization error. Start-Stop doesn't work at all. Any configuration using the infotainment fails with an error. Looking for the part number of the MQB A0 GW it shows VW/Audi part number: 6C0909901 Hardware part number: 6C0937089 Searching for these part numbers on the internet I only find VW Polo BCMs ??? Looking for the BCM of my car it shows VW/Audi part number: 6C0937089C Hardware part number: 6C0937089 Why does the BCM and the GW have the same part number? Is the GW and the BCM only one control unit in my car? Is the GW included in the BCM? I also can't find a fitting parametrization file with VCP. Can someone help me out getting the gw parametrization file to get start-stop working again? Thx, Dw4rv3n |

I learned yesterday that there are indeed cars in VAG company where BCM1 and GW is one ECU. It is for some MQB-A cars like that.
