hello a friend has buyed a full package CIC with combox plug and play coded for his car. he insall it and all works well . but two things are wrong.

in the cic he cant change settings for head up display
and for seatheat and for clima controll the menu dont comes up when press the buttons for heating.

i saved the coding trc and have vo code the cic  wit 6VA and higher build date and after that all works well but the bluetooth is missing.

ok i tried then also code with $6VC and become error.

now my problem is. how can i manuall code bluetooth streaming after VO code the cic

or

how can i manuall code the head up display and seat and clima display shows up with the coding which was on the cic plug and play

I think you need NCSDummy. It will allow you to see diffrences between old and new coding.

Can't code 6VC on an E60 Chassis, it just wasn't produced while E60s were. You need an SSD file from an E70(better) or E90. Or the other option would be to manually code combox to CIC.

can you maybe tell me all options what need to code for combox manually? that bluetoot will come up in the cic ?

or i can code it with the coding it was on the cic when it arrived to me, but then i need the manually codes for the head up display and the climate and the seat heat.

Add CIC FA to car. code cic default. Read coding. Code with SSD file. Read coding. Load two configs in dummy and go through diff. All relevant options is obvious

LCI climate control panel retrofit will need to be performed. In addition, pin 21 modification needs to be performed to wiring.   No coding support for pre lci clima in CIC.

Combox retrofit coding examples are at bmwcoding forum. You need to join to find the relevant info.

thats not correct when i vo code je cic then all funktionslos work perfect

head up display all is fine only combox is missing then

but isi think you are maybe right because ist is half lci modell
start without key and i think is has the clima from lci

i have both files maybe i must search in ncs dummy and find the problem

i think you need to remove something from VO options then you can code the cic to the car sorry i cant remember that code exactly i did it long time ago

Coding Combox for E6X ist actually pretty easy with NCSDummy, you go into the search function (strg+f), click the Order Option tab and enter "combox", now you see all the values you have to activate
