First step is to correct the VIN.

This cannot be done with BMW tools like WinKFP. Use something from the market (R270+ / XPROG etc.).
i think the first step would be to correct the mileage. Put the mileage same or lower than original vehicle. Then correct the VIN. If the donor cluster has higher mileage it will overwrite the mileage in the CAS/LM

This might be the right normal way, but JuCe has problems with flash the instrument cluster.

The milage does not to be a problem for flashing the instrument cluster, but the right VIN is important.

If you cant read the modules reliably then it sounds like a crap d-can lead.

I would use an icom for the flash tbh, no problems then.

That said you have a 0009 error which means that there is no comms with the kombi, so i suspect that you have corrupted the boot loader, try the icom flash.

As stated changing the vin can only be done with a chip tool, like the r270.

This is what i encounter. I bought a Dcan with RQ Chip. so it's a switch there, a button that can be pushed. Do i need to push it or keep unpush ? Car is e65 fl 2007.
So , when i try to do a coding with ncsexpert with button unpushed, i can do it on few modules like ASK,SZL, but doesnt let me to do it on ASK/MMI.
I attached a scan with ISTAD using cable button unpushed, a lot of unresponding modules but KOMBI looks like is blue.
I also had issues with coding radio/cd/ask, because i pushed PROCESS car/CODE car instead of process ECU and now no radio no music no CD
Could be the driver bad of cable ?
Even with NFS emergency it says cannot switch to programming mode on KOMBI

Get an icom and flash Kombi. To flash with kdcan you need to have a really good one, and need to know about winkfp parameters.

Icom with ISTA P ? Icom works the same with ncsexpert for coding modules ?

Even NFS is NOT a magic tool. It still requires a very basic bootloader to be operational. If you killed it too, then it may be easiest to get a new KOMBI.

Frankly, I would never even think to try flashing if an interface looses connection even on diagnosis. But then it's your car. Or is it? smile

ICOMs work will all BMW software.

Exactly, bad interface is the problem here.

RE: Bricked KOMBI Module with WinFKP ?
So i guess the cable should be the problem, i bought a good k-dcan today, but looks like it loses the connection somehow. I tried to start INPA and go on UIF/INFO, but when i refresh the program, it gives different modules there sometimes many sometimes less modules detected.
Could be some CAN interferation maybe? For example DDE update worked nice, a remap with KESS/Mpps worked stable, but the modules makes problems.

P.S. I took out KOMBI cluster, took out, put the 35080 chip in programmer and read the dump. So I tried to to write another dump, but kluster still dead.

You killed CPU software, not EEPROM data. Have you checked COM emulation timing settings as mentioned in one of first posts?
