Hey Guys,

I am rather new to Audi and I'd like some guidance.
My wife just got a 2018 A3 with MMI and Virtual cockpit.

I am trying to figure out:

1. What MMI version my car has (I see many kinds online; MMI 3G, 3G plus, etc.)? The software version says CLU8_MMX2_AU_ER_G21…

2. how can I get map updates without going to Audi (already tried myaudi.com but no maps available there, I guess the free period has passed)

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Press and Hold Media and NAV at the same time. Service Menu should start. Check Version Information and send me a screenshot. Pretty sure i can help you

I now have GEM with updated firmware and 2022 maps
