Hi all,


I am trying to encode a FRM3, the "MAX kuester" in an e81 but when it comes to reading or writing, it won't let me.

the date of manufacture is #0909 but the frm was changed to frm3 some time ago

I have the following errors:

If I put FRM3_E89.C33 it lets me do codieren_lesen, but it doesn't let me do sg_codieren

Did you write the FA to FRM and CAS, that match your actual equipment? FA is correct?

it looks like you are trying to encode FRM2, change coding to FRM3. READ ECU with NCS and change FRM2_E89.C08 to FRM3_E89.C31, FRM3_E89.C32 OR FRM3_E89.C33 depending on which version FRM is installed.

The fa is correct, because before encoding anything it was already giving problems. First of all I did a codieren_lesen to make a copy and it gave an error.

Automatically ncs expert reads me FRM2_E89.C08. When I change to the rest the only one that seems to work is FRM3_E89.C33, but it only allows codieren_lesen, read the ecu, but when you do sg_codieren it gives an error.

Seems that your FRM zb number belongs to a FRM2, it has metal case. Perform a visual inspection

Seen this problem today, managed to resolve by using ISTA/P - selected replacement FRM and it all coded fine.
