hi, i have e60 with edc 16 and cas2.

I read eeprom from EDC and need to extract ISN from it, which line is it?

also the cas2 i have is different pinout to most and i cant connect to it to read/write eeprom

its 2k79x chip. can anoyone help with pinout?

thanks, i managed to read cas eeprom, and it has the same ISN. But car cranks and wont start, it started and drove a month ago, left it for few weeks with battery disconnected and wont fire up. cant synchronise cas with dme in ista, flashed cas to latest

unplugg battery, wait 10 min, when try synchronise

Try to do a DME - CAS synchronization using INPA. Before doing so, remove any errors you read.

Flashed CAS again, and did synchro and now all good. thanks for help
