The fact that your error says Short circuit points to incorrect wiring on your quadlock harness, check that the video cable pins from TRSVC are on 21(+),24 (-)and 23 (shield)at the EVO (could also be on pins 18(+) 28(-) 27(Shield).
Also you have to tell the EVO in the CAF which pins it is connected to, there is a werte value that needs setting. search caf for camera and find CAM ECU then set the werte value for Top/Side view to werte_01 (may need a different number if your video feed is on different pins)

I think you are right. My quadlock harness is aftermarket to allow for my activator and kdcan 2 connect without splicing into my car.

I will connector this harness to my NBT and see if the issue happens.

The backup camera is normal. Only the top view camera is abnormal.
If there is a problem with the quad lock, I think the backup camera is also abnormal.

Wait wait, let me check something. Your TRSVC has 5 ports right? Now, an F10 should have all 5 cameras connected I’m sure when surround view is installed? Do you have side view, top view and rear view caneras installed? Or only rear view and top view? I’m checking that if you don’t have side view cameras installed that you are connected to the correct outputs on the TRSVC. Is this original or a retrofit?

He says "f10 with factory surround view".
I understood that everything was working fine before he retrofitted the EVO.
If that's not the case, I think he need to check everything from the side mirror camera, including the TRSVC(with wire).

Yes my car has factory surround view and everything works fine when my NBT is plugged in. I am going to check my aftermarket quadlock harness in a few hours. I hope this is my issue.

Thank you everyone for your help. This has been solved!!!


The issue was my Chinese quadlock harness to allow for my activator to be plug and play. The camera wires were bridged together causing a short. I undid these and it worked perfectly. See photo below
