AppleCarplay WIRELESS Q7 4M MMI+
Is AppleCarplay WIRELESS possible with the Audi Q7 4M with Navi MMI Plus? It is currently activated but only with a cable (USB)

Are you sure? Q7 4m has mhi2 mib2 unit which normaly should not have the 5ghz network like mh2p units for which wifi carplay is possible only trough adaptations (coding). So in my opinion he needs an wifi carplay adapter. |

Q7 4M has three types of MMI installed.
MHI2,MH2p and MIB3 TOP. Depending on year built. |

Did not came across another then MHI2. I am aware that the fl model (from 2020) has mh2p. MIB3 TOP is new to me. Thnx for the info although.

Until 2019.05 is MHI2.
2019.05 to 2021.05 is MH2p. After 2021.05 is MIB3. |

mine was built in 2018 and I was able to unlock the 5ghz wlan with VCDS, but it has no function. I was offered help for 150€, but then I prefer to continue using carplay via cable
