Hello folks,
Im trying to make EDC17 tune, proper one. Im having new not original software, will not say name, and im not possible to log, for i dont know why... so im posting only values what i have observed from measured values. I modded following maps: TL, all TL limiters (TL was initially 480Nm) - base was 415Nm, boost limiter and boost request, around 2720 mb - base was 2.6b, also DW i made for 500Nm to have request, duration i extrapolated cause it is in mm3, so 78mm3 is +/- 67/68mg, my target was 75mg, Nm2IQ i extrapolated till 510Nm. With base map without any modification i achieved 2.6b boost 415Nm limit, 70mg IQ (is it IQ in mg or mm3? - in my opinion it is mm3), with this soft i acheived 2,74b, 80mg IQ (or mm3?), 480Nm, car drives very well, but when i calculated IQ from boost it is (if its IQ then 1:16 lambda), car has no smoek at all, but i did not liked it, then i made second change a bit, i increased 2250rpm spectrum with IQ and moddified N75 a bit, car was having 470Nm when log and 80mg of IQ (or mm3?), and 2,74b boost. Then i tried to log also pre turbo temperature, around 4000 RPM it was hitting 1000°C! Then engine spiral control has triggered. IF logged value is IQ in mg, then i had 80mg in 2740 boost, lambda around 1:16, but high EGT, so therefore i decreased Nm in TL for 455 (should be around 75mg) then we will have 1:17 AFR, i also added 1% in RP, cause rail and soi advance decreases EGT, so im just going to boot it into car and try to do logs... but i dont know basically how to move forward, could you please help me? Adding files, V1 is file with 480Nm requested, V2 is 480Nm also at 2250 (and N75 modded), V3 is 455Nm with RP increased and boost slightly changed. What do you think guys? Should i advance SOI? by at least 1degree with V1 tune? 480Nm + change RP by 1/2%, add 1-2°at SOI? Im a bit in the end of my investigations, i will just try to change things and make logs, but i think this 455Nm tune is a bit weak, we will see. Update: after logs and test ride of this last v3 tune, 2740 requested boost, 450Nm requested, 79mg inj, 1:16 AFR, car smokes a bit black - not much, any ideas how to do a proper one without smoke? I did not touched lambda maps, should i touch lambda maps to go 1:17? For example? Im open for any ideas. Temperature preturbo hit not so high values as it was with V2 tune... Lambda failure at memory rich mixture, so i guess i need to go down with NM and IQ... Update2: im having V4 version, with reworked TQ limiters, main TL changed, also NM2IQ extrapolated only to 460, doesnt matter to go higher, boost maps decreased a bit and also DW changed only up to 460 and duration kept stock, im just thinking to modify this stock smoke via MAP because if i changed 480Nm TL to 455 Nm TL still im injecting 80mg of fuel, for 2740mb turbo map its too low AFR, i need to be around 1:17, because of smokeless tune - but i kept smoke via MAP stock fully!, this 1:16 is having a bit o black smoke, thats unacceptable for DPF tune... right? Or should i keep it like it is with V3 version? well i dont know. I just need a bit of touch of guidiance in other hand i could manage it completely. Or should i change LAMBDA to 1:17 (eg. 1.200)? thanks a lot... BR Filip |
