I am doing an ACC retrofit project and i wanted to program LDM and ACC to have my VIN instead of the donor VIN, so i grabbed my KDCAN cable and winkfp to flash them like what could possibly go wrong. LDM was successfully flashed on the first try without any problem, took about 10 seconds, however, ACC somehow takes way longer and always give a 2089 and 2086 signature check error message after hitting 100%. Now the module is in PROGRAMMING ABORT state. Anyway I can successfully flash this or undo what I've done? This part is extremely hard to find so I need to rescue it. Much appreciation.

[Feb.19, 2022] I solved the problem! An DCAN cable with old firmware was the culprit. I flashed the ATMEGA162 chip on my DCAN cable with Arduino Uno (Any Arduino will do). If anyone bumped into the same problem find solution here: http://blog.obdii365.com/2021/07/09/upda...-firmware/

Flashing some modules with kdcan is very risky. You can try to get a hold of an ICOM and flash it with that.

Unfortunately I don't have access to icom but worst case scenario that's my only option... I've ordered a bimmergeek expert dcan cable before this happened and it's on its way. I'll try with this first once it arrives. One thing I don't understand is, acc program data is even smaller than LDM how comes it takes way longer. They are both on PT-CAN

The modded bimmergeek cable will sort it.
It's well known it brick some modules, I bricked my gear stick doing the SAT retrofit and ended up flashing my existing DCAN. Then I got an ICOM from BMW so it doesn't happen again.

That's a good news to hear. 
wdym by saying "modded"? Do I need to do something to it?
I still have a lot to learn... I have come cross the term "flash the DCAN cable" several times these days but could not understand. Kind educating me abit about it? Much appreciation.
BTW i just noticed I actually purchased the more expensive "expert" cable. Don't know if this helps.
