esysx FSC Code Generator
Hey. I would like to generate a code using the ESYSX FSC Code Generator. Are the first 7 digits of the VIN really enough? I can't enter 17 digits, only 16, but the generator asks for either 7 or 17. Does the code really match? And if not then what if I do the map update?

you need to enter LAST not FIRST 7 digits

You need to load the 1B FSC in order to generate the 28 MAPS FSC. The generator needs one to make the other. A VIN alone is not enough.
