Hi everyone i am trying to read a 93c86 soic eprom from golf 4 dash and the dump looks very strange.i am using batrononix bx 40 ans the result is the same either with pomona soic clip either with genuine batronix soic 8 adaptor.i have tried all the available types of 93c86 prog express shown.the brand of eprom is FAIRYCHILD.anyone has an idea what is going wrong?

Dump not Contain km,login, serial No.VIN...etc only eep siz is ok
i think you need to read other eeprom 24c02 or 24c08 in other side, ?
because seems the eeprom Contain information for screen needles....etc
and i'm not sure

Hello m8 you are correct eeprom is under/near LCD you have to remove needles etc to get to it i did one a while back to program key sure it's 24c08
