I had the same problem on windows10. Use the Aio210 program, it fixes all the errors that Visual C + installs.

RE: Odis install error
Functions like showing PDFs rely on windows-media-files which aren't present on the "N" and "KN" versions of windows. Installing regular windows should fix this problem.

...I've often installed Odis on windows 10 pro - never had any problems - Install runs always smooth

vas5054 windows 10 64bit- odis s 7.2.1 (you need to install driver for vas5054)
in ODIS s 8.2.0 VAS5054 not work
