Esys + Windows 11
Good Morning,

I have two computers with BMW software. In my garage with Windows 10, everything has to work there.

But I have Windows 11 on the notebook. ISTA, INPA, NCSEXPERT work perfectly, but I can't get Esys to work. Whether 3.27, 3.28, 3.30 or even 3.36, it doesn't work. I've tried different versions of Java, but it just doesn't work.

Does anyone have tips for me?

Win 11, Esys 3.36.2 and java 8 Update 321 both 32bit and 64bit, works fine, no hacks

Windows 11 is installed with Java 64bit. You should manually down load / install Java 32bit.

It had also worked with my Windows 11 a few months ago. But when I wanted to use it in the last few days, it didn't work anymore.


I have now only installed all possible Esys versions. The "Loading E-Sys" start window also appears with the following messages:
- Loading Properties...
- Creating log file...
- Loading frames...
- Opening module coding...
And then the window disappears.
There is no app in the task manager either.

Here the problem may not be with java, but rather with missing visual c ++ redistributable or/and NET framework packages
