Solved ✔ Odis starts without installing PostSetup

ZVW  Odis starts without installing PostSetup
Hello all,
after successfully installing Odis-S 9.1.0 on my laptop yesterday, someone asks me to install Odis-S 8.2.0 on his device.
The installation was successful, I changed the plugin and launcher, but after starting Odis it directly starts the program and didn't ask for the PostSetup installation. After the start of Odis there are many errors because of the missing DIDB. How can I force a PostSetup installation?

i think you use bud postsetup or plugins,this is because postsetup dont install all,or missing files.

you need first uninstall Odis-S 8.2.0 from Control panel and then after manually delete folders from C: Program files(x86) Offboard diag information system service, Ditest, D-Pduapi, I+ME actia, Vw pdu, vw mcd, Projects folders.. and from ProgramData Off board Diag informat system service, Odis setuplogs, Dpu api, I+me actia gmbh..
and make a fresh ,clean Install

Unfortunately not, I used the same files a few weeks ago on my laptop and it worked

i seems to be that "your friend" did not tell you that he had already an odis install. Your setup did not ask for postsetup because is saw some files from a previous install in programdata or somewere and just went further.

ALWAYS BEFORE YOU INSTALL ONE ODIS MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN THE UNINSTALLED OLDER VERSION PROPER.
