Guys, anyone has updated the MGU maps (LIVE) over USB device like we used to do in NBT? 
The vehicle in question is north America 2021 G05 with MGU unit and pre-loaded maps 2019-1. I know I have updated online maps for my region, but I want to update the full MGU maps over USB. I have 2021-2 North America Live downloaded "NAVD_000046A1_255_008_099" and the steps I have taken:
1) Format 32gb USB to Fat32.
2) Move all the items inside the NAVD folder to the root of USB. So the NAVD folder is not moved of course, but all of the items inside of it are in USB root.

I have tried both the cupholder (USB) and armrest USB-C ports. Each of them does nothing. USB blinks few times but MGU doesn't try to start any updating process. 
I must be missing something!

And one more thing...anyone might have North America Live 2022 for doanload?

Use different USB drive. My MGU did not work with fast corsair which NBT had no problem with. Symptom was the same. Insert, couple of flashes and nothing. Had to buy Samsung crap drive which is slow as hell then MGU worked. Also I use NTFS.

P.S. You may need a map code too. At least when using BMW downloader it puts in on the USB along with the map.

Got you. Yeah I was using a very fast drive and it just wouldn’t work. Will try an older slow one to see what happens. Thanks!

Not sure what did the trick BUT I took a quick portal 2TB HD (100mb/s read and write), formatted it as NTFS and it worked. Thank you!
