startproblems camshaft sensor
Hello together
F11 525D with N47 engine I have the following problem and hope someone can help. Sometimes the engine won't start and I have to try 2 or 3 times until it does. There are then a few entries in the error memory. Most of them are for interruption, except for the camshaft sensor where there is no signal. I have already replaced the sensor with a new original BMW sensor. Because the batteries cause various faults as they age, they have also been replaced. For a while I thought the problem had been solved. Unfortunately not, the starting problems keep coming back. It doesn't matter whether it's cold or warm. In the meantime, I even have to clear the error first, then the car starts immediately. What else can be done? Thank you very much. |

RE: startproblems camshaft sensor
Also fault in rail pressure regulator or something like that. That is much more critical than camshaft.
BUT. Given you have so many faults and almost ALL are intermittent I would look for something COMMON to them all. |
