Hi, I need help adapting a replacement kessy on a 2005 Bentley continental.

Customer lost all keys and called someone to get one made, the guy couldn't make it plus damaged original kessy.

Now the Customer ordered brand new keys from the dealer. also ordered a used kessy from ebay with exactly the same part number.

I have PIN and CS from engine ecu.
Also have PIN and CS from replacement Kessy.

I tried adapting the kessy with vvdi2 under Special Function -> Adapt Unit Module -> Kessy Audi A8/VW Touareg/Phaeton, but it tries to read power class unsuccessfully.

I also tried to adapt it with Autel IM508 and it does the same thing.

I removed and read the Engine ECU's. They are ME7.1.1

Can someone extract the power class?

Also I would appreciate if you can share your method for doing it.

If Ur vehicle got ELV -power class stored there. Bentley from 2005 - need to check. Thx

As U got pin for spare kessy - try to adapt it by VCDS - 05 ECU - security access 16 ( pin) - chanel 0 - enter 0 - test( plant) - chanel 50 - enter vehicle pin - then chanel 21 ( key adaptation) 

I gave this info by memory - check ross tech wiki

Update:

I tried with VCDS and ODIS, but It gave me and when I put the new PIN. I think the ELV is also bad since it does not show a part number only XXXXXXXX.

I this point I have to abandon this job because the car may have other issues and I have to drive hour and a half. It is a waste of time. 

I was hoping to find the solution and share it here with everyone.
