Yesterday I faced a problem with a 2010 W906 MB sprinter.
During EIS read with VVDI PROG, the EIS eeprom corrupted (erased eeprom, flash is ok)
I have ordered a VVDI MB tool to recover this, I want to make sure whats the correct procedure of recovery.

1. I flash an another eeprom file to EIS.
2. I can transfer the key hashes, SSID, and VIN from ECU/ESL to EIS.

Is this correct? Or what could I do to recover this EIS?

You mean i can upload a dump from an another EIS to this blank, then Copy key hash, SSID, and VIN from ecu to EIS, right? I have 1 key, for that corrupted eeprom EIS. Will this work, or I have to make new key?

You read ECU info by obd than generate EIS file ,generate key file,write a new key (or activate the current key ) and start the car

Another alternative ,put a full backup from another EIS (search serial Number on forum) make new key,put esl emulator or try to make it virgin,make ecu virgin and adapt it with Xentry
