adapt cupra steering wheel
Hello.
I have a cupra steering wheel that I want to adapt to my bannedbannedcupra ateca. My car has the same steering wheel but without the start engine button or the driving mode button. I want to mount the steering wheel of the attached photos and that those two buttons work for me. How is it done with the Vcds? |

RE: adapt cupra steering wheel
Not possible with vcds, you need a other dataset for your gateway and maybe other ECUs (if you want it like original).

Actually those two buttons go by can bus. I put a photo of the original steering wheel and the new one. |

RE: adapt cupra steering wheel
I far as I know, the steering with start/stop engine has separate connection.

RE: adapt cupra steering wheel
even you install will need Cupra dataset for the gateway and SWAP for the cupra mode.... not sure if engine, brakes will cover it..

RE: adapt cupra steering wheel
It is necessary to finalize the wiring and most likely change the blocks

RE: adapt cupra steering wheel
From which Cupra do you have the steering wheel, Formentor?
You would first have to compare the structure, wiring and control units. Then the coding... |
