BMW E60 530d 218hp 2005 - lambda issue?
The big question.
Car have dpf egr off. After I drive car smell behind car it's ok fore some minutes after - it's very bad, like old car. I used bimmer link and discover that lambda need that engine to go over 88degree to change value. Until that it's 1.0 The it can oscilatate from 5 at idle to something about 32 in engine brake fter accelerate. How much time lambda need to heat up? It's lambda LSU 4.9 Wire from lambda to ECU are ok. No error for lambda - if I disconect lambda car give error about heating circuit - so I think lambda coil it's ok. Any info? Thanks |

diesels have nox sensor, and the bad car smell comes because dpf is removed, completely normal..

After some minutes at idle ,they change how smell. Regarding sensor - euro 4 have lambda sensor - LSU 4.9 My question it's how rapidly this sensor will heat up normally to measure correctly. |
