VW New Beetle 2001 O2 sensors off in ECU is it possible?
Hi, I want to ask is it possible to delete/turn off O2 sensors in this car?
VW New Beetle Year 2001 Engine 2.0l gasoline R4 ECU part number 06A 906 018 N (probbably bosch M5.9.2?) There are 2pcs O2/lambda sensors. Can you help how to find them in ECU memmory and turn them OFF? Or if I upload file can someone do it for me? Thaks, take care. Trying to fix BMW with ICOM, ISTA, ESYS and CDGI.

first lambda probe (before cat) in gasoline cars is used to determine AFR (air-fuel ratio) , it is VERY bad idea to turn off first lambda probe , second lambda probe (behind cat) can be turned off, best regards

My problem is that the car got both O2 sensors error and consump 13 - 14 l/100km (before about 8l/100km). Cost of both sensors is high compare to the cost of whole car. It is a normal/daily use car (10km to work) not racing Trying to fix BMW with ICOM, ISTA, ESYS and CDGI.

Post your file. And replace first LSU. Second you can disconnect.
