A3 2015 mqb - ecu simos 18.1 - dash Vdo - security blocks read
Hi community.
I have remove ECU and CLUSTER from A3 MQB at jank yard for training purposes and no key for sure. I wanna to extract all security info ( immo) looks like AKL situation. Simos 18.1 will be read by Hextag boot mode( 14 v and 3 amps) and i seen few editors to get immo data out from full read. QUESTION ABOUT CLUSTER. Does somebody know a programmer to read such dash? And immo extraction? I found X- tool.org only Any info pls. Thx |

You need to have a working key to read dash via OBD/bench.
Renesas MCU is locked so you cannot read that via programmers. Immo data alone from dash is not enought, you need to have a key or sync data |

So. Guys - It is JUST TRAINING - all parts from SCRAP yard.
About DASh - thx for everybody - but i know about - key belong the car needed. ADD more - Renesans is R/W protected by chip Id - but in some cases it cold be erased that makes open for writing (need study) - i just learn about when i got a time. thx |
