I have in my hands, this ecu from BMW E36 1,6cc 1997year
The car is not in my place
I d like to clone it, to another used ecu from scrapyard.
Is it enough to swap the flash memory only, or has the immo and in another component.

There is a chip inside, 27c512, you can just swap the chip over.

edit, I see this is M43 engine dme. You would need ADS to read ISN from that, if even possible.
Chip swap it is.
