G20 new BDC and DDE

Hey,

I got on my hands 318d G20 from 03.2020 with new BDC from dealer. After replacing and coding, it turns out that DDE (D83BX7C0) is dead.

Got an used DDE and then I shiped to tunner to make a clone. Not sure if he did proper job on it, since I can't start the car and ISTA gives me:

EWS authentic response not received 276f00 error -The fault is logged if the DDE control unit receives an invalid rolling code from the CAS/FEM/BDC control unit.

Any suggestion how to tackle this since DDE replacement is quite new to me ?

I do not understand how after coding bdc the engine ecu died? what faults ista shows.

i think that not after codings, but he realized that alsodde was dead. i think flood car, first replaced bdc, when saw another dead ecu

Yes, same exact part numbers

Never said that DDE died after coding, there was a reason that BDC was replaced smile

As you might know without this module working you can forget about any ISTA diagnostics.

Do you have the 2 EEPROM from the original and used

Dme part numbers is same, where is cant be any problems
If ecu was dead, did wcu communicate on bench? If not, when ecu cannot be cloned, only with swapping cpu from ori to donor
Seems like isn is wrong now

Try initial flexray, and check ports
