RE: CIC can´t flash A0
Probably someone will tell you that you should use icom a1 but on my opinion that's not important because I have flashed many of CIC headunits with icom next and there was no problem, except for one headunit, I have icom a1 and it actually does the same job but a bit slower.
Did you not write in the post, did you use icom b for this job? and how you lock icom in easyconnect? • EGS7/7DCT300 ISN RESET REMOTE •
• KaFAS4 (MID/HIGH) MRR, RAM VIRGIN REMOTE • • NBTevo/ENTRYNAV2/MGU VIRGIN/PATCH • • HDD -> SSD NBT/NBTevo/MGU • CARPLAY NBTevo/EN2/MGU • • FULL FSC PATCH/RETROFIT CIC, EN2,NBT, NBT2, MGU, • • REMOVE CP --> NBTEVO ID4&6/Entrynav2/MGU • UK BASED! |

RE: CIC can´t flash A0
I recently had the same problem, only not on the bench but in the car. I programmed with the original icom next a + b and winkfp. I ran into the problem that, apparently due to the high data transfer rate or other features of the next, the optical bus hung at a bad moment and the program did not enter the modules. As a result, I spent the whole day reconnecting again, giving the car a rest, but everything worked out.
I don't know if my experience will help you. It seemed to me that it was easier to work on the bench because the bus is not loaded with other modules. I also heard that icom b must be original. Good luck. Coding in Germany

My ICOM Next is original, as already said above in german, today I flashed two other Exx CICs, that worked flawless, not a single error message, but once I plug in this one and start A0, or start with 63, then 62 and THEN A0, it doesn´t even start, I´m watching the bit rates in task manager all the time, also my firewalls are off. With or without other modules on bench doesn´t make a difference, I also tried this before. |

RE: CIC can´t flash A0
then it sounds like the flash memory is defective.

RE: CIC can´t flash A0
I´ll give a few more tries, maybe with ethernet or even OBD, I don´t care if it sits a few days and is flashing. But has anyone ever repaired a flash memory inside a CIC?
