XZBMW  Bmw Ista D Errors Fix No Communication With Car Pad Aktiv This Is Your Fix To Pad Akt
For posterity, if someone has a problem with ISTA and car detection and the PAD message and has already tested all possible ways to fix it from the network, I will suggest one more idea that helped me.

I will start with the fact that the car detection in ista, inpa and other tools stopped working in an instant.

Reinstalling the software outside of the system did not bring any improvement.

When it happened to me again, I decided to analyze my activities on the PC. Thanks to this, I was able to determine that on Windows 10 at the time of installing Dr. Gini, move the api32.dll file, depending on the 32-bit or 64-bit version, to a different location in the Windows directory.

And going to the merits, it turns out that pasting this file on Windows 10 to the directory:

C: \ Windows \ system32 - 32bit
C: \ Windows \ SysWOW64 - 64bit

It causes the above-mentioned symptoms sad
Not only that, however, Dr. Gini does not work, it also destroys the connection and as if it blocks the start of EDIABAS and thus does not detect the PAD.

Therefore, check with yourself if you do not have this file in the above-mentioned directory, if so, throw it out and the connection should return.

I have already checked it on 3 machines and it always helped.

It is a pity that Dr. Gini does not work properly on Windows 10 because it is quite a facilitation for FSC in E series units.

Regards

If my scribble helped you leave thx and rep.

Did I helped you?

Just to be clear, to repair this topic:

Api32.dll must be deleted from the following directories:

C: \ Windows \ system32 - 32bit
C: \ Windows \ SysWOW64 - 64bit

Looks like that this problem is also on Windows 11

By the default it should be in EDIABAS/Bin only and not in the directories mentioned above
